This Northwest Arkansas horse camp is open to youth ages 12-17 who have previous horse experience. Designed to further equestrian skills beyond the basics, Junior Wranglers Camp focuses on increased control at the trot and lope while honing riders’ balance and body control in the saddle. Campers will have the opportunity to complete challenging trail obstacles, ride drill team patterns, and more.
The cost to participate is $475. Military and first responder families receive a 10% discount. Email info@180ranchnwa.com for details.
Who Can Participate?
Kids ages 12 – 17 may participate in this Junior Wranglers Camp. While the following skills will be reviewed at camp, please be sure your child can already safely:
- Trot on a horse with good balance and control
- Canter or lope on a horse with good balance and control
- Groom and saddle a horse
- Lead and handle horses on the ground
Camp Schedule
This is not an overnight camp. Camp begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM each day. Campers must bring a sack lunch.
Each morning begins with a short, horse-inspired Christian devotional from the book, Unbridled Faith. Throughout the day, campers will practice their riding skills in preparation for a show on Friday. Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to attend!
Refund Policy
We know plans can change. If your child is unable to attend summer camp, a full or partial refund may be available. Please review the information below:
- 100% refund available until April 1, 2026
- 50% refund available April 2 – May 19
- NO REFUNDS after May 20
